Swim Safe is back for 2019!
With FREE one-hour water safety sessions for 7-14 year olds who can swim 25 yards unaided, Swim Safe is a joint promotion by the RNLI - the charity that saves lives at sea, and Swim England - the National Governing Body.
Qualified swimming teachers and lifeguards will provide an hour's on-beach and in-water fun session which includes vital information to help keep children safe on the beach and in open water, and how to help others who may be at risk.
We provide wet suits and swim hats, all children need to bring is a swimming costume and a towel. Children must be accompanied by an adult for their session
There are five sessions each weekday from 29 July until 16 August and spaces can be booked FREE online at www.swimsafe.org.uk with the location "Isle of Wight Sandown". You can also sign up on the beach, but spaces are limited so book online if you can!
Swim Safe isle of Wight is supported by the Isle of Wight Council Sports Development Unit, Waterside Pool, Ryde and the IOW Lifeboat Board.
We are at Eastern Gardens, Culver Parade, next to the ISurf surf school and the Sundial cafe - SatNav: PO36 8AS
