The monthly meeting of the Philo Cafe at Cowes Library is from 7 - 9pm. This is a friendly philosophical discussion group using the form of Socratic Method of careful listening and considered responses. The group follows the tradition of a critical philosophy as used by the Society for the Furtherance of Critical Philosophy. No knowledge of academic philosophy is needed as critical philosophy begins with the experience of ordinary people.
