This Wednesday, 5th June MV Boudicca who will be transporting the D-Day veterans from Portsmouth to Normandy, will anchor off Ventnor at 8:45 pm sounding her horn upon anchor. On Ventnor Seafront Rutunda a special service will then take place by St. Alban's Church and Ventnor Churches, conducted by Fr. John M. Ryder ssc of Godshill Parish. Ventnor's HM Coastguards will set off a maroon before the ship Boudicca will sound her horn in response before traveling on her way to Normandy.

Throughout the evening all Ventnor's Church Bells will ring as a sign of respect for our Veterans and those who died during D-Day.

Come join us at Ventnor Esplanade at 8:45pm for Ventnor D-Day 75.

Supported by Churches of Ventnor, British Legion, Isle of Wight Council & St. Alban's Church - Ventnor.
