The first South Wight Communities Conference is taking place at The Broadway Centre in Sandown. The Conference is an opportunity to shape and be part of the networks improving resilience and support in South Wight.
The conference will look at examples of national best practice, local examples and your ideas as to how we can work more effectively to improve services in South Wight.
Our speakers include: Catherine Wilton – The Coalition for Collaborative
Care: Catherine leads on the Leadership for Empowered and Healthy Communities – a programme aimed at helping leaders across the public sector explore what they need to do to create the conditions for strong and healthy communities.
John Wilks – Director: Academy of Fabulous Stuff CIC Ltd. This organisation is a social movement for sharing Health & Social Care Ideas, services and solutions that work.
Invitees include health and social care professionals, the community and voluntary sector, parish councillors and representatives of faith communities.
We hope you will be able to join us for this free event and become part of the network seeking to improve health and social care across our communities.
The event is jointly organised by the South Integrated Locality Service, Community Action Isle of Wight and South Wight Parishes Health Well-being Forum and is supported by Sandown Town Council and Ventnor Town Council.
