Join local botanist Dave Trevan for an opportunity to learn more about the wonderful springtime flowers of our Island's woodlands.
This, free informal workshop is aimed at complete beginners with an interest in wild flower ID and species recording (no previous knowledge necessary)
The session will be based both indoors in the Education Room at The Steam Railway, and outdoors as we shall be exploring the ancient woodland onsite.
The woodland has uneven paths and may be muddy in places, therefore stout footwear and waterproof clothing is advised. You may wish to bring a notebook / camera. Refreshments will be provided.
This is a free event, however places are limited and booking is essential.
Participants must be be either over 18, or over 16 and accompanied by a participating parent or guardian.
To book, please email [email protected] and provide your name / contact email / telephone number.
This event is led by iWatchWildlife - an IW Natural History & Archaeological Society Project which is funded by Down to the Coast.
