The monthly Philo Cafe at Cowes Library takes place between 7 - 9pm. This is a philosophical discussion group using the Socratic Method of careful listening and considered responses, following the tradition of a critical philosophy as used by the Society for the Furtherance of Critical Philosophy.

No knowledge of academic philosophy is needed as critical philosophy begins with the experience of ordinary people. Topic for discussion: Is honesty always the best policy?
