Part of Harp on Wight 2018

This is the opening concert in this years Harp on Wight Festival. Harp on Wight's Patron Anne Denholm (The Officially Appointed Harpist to HRH The Prince of Wales) will again be involved in the opening event.

After performing solo last year, this time Anne will be part of the Hermes Experiment who are an ensemble of four young professional musicians who have a passion for contemporary and experimental music. The group is made up of harp, clarinet, double bass and a soprano voice and they will be performing a programme of Early and Baroque music.

At the start of the concert the results of the festival's junior and senior composition competitions will be announced. Harpist and competition judge Fran Barsby will then perform the winning entries. Tickets £12 Children under 16 £6
