A gentle 2 miles wander around the village with tales of the folk who made their mark on Newtown. From Queen Elizabeth I and George Canning, to the eccentric Ferguson’s Gang and Mercia Seabroke in the 20th century, Newtown is full of colourful and historic characters that have shaped its past. Meet at Newtown Visitor Point PO30 4PA (SZ 423 906). Please wear weather suitable clothing and walking shoes or boots. Dogs on lead welcome.
