IOW Gardens Trust and Ramshackle Cinema present Exhibition On Screen's remarkable documentary, narrated by Gillian Anderson, The Artist's Garden: American Impressionism.

The film is the sequel to the Exhibition on Film ‘Painting the Modern Garden’ which we showed last year. This film focuses on the American Impressionist movement, featuring the sell-out exhibition The Artist’s Garden: American Impressionism and the Garden Movement, 1887–1920 that began at the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts and ended at the Florence Griswold Museum, Old Lyme, Connecticut. It’s a chance to see exquisite paintings and gardens that otherwise you would need to travel to the States to see.

The film is presented in High Definition with Dolby 5.1 Surround Sound.

Doors open at 2.30pm, the film starts at 3.00pm and there will be a full afternoon tea afterwards, kindly provided by the IOW Gardens Trust.

Tickets are £12.50 each which includes afternoon tea after the film. Bookings must be made in advance so please contact Moira Sibley for more details and to reserve your tickets on 01983 874512 or [email protected].
