Dr Clark will discuss the formation of the Island’s coastline since the Ice Age and more recent historical changes that have taken place.

His talk will also highlight the background to various schemes in South Wight that have been used to safeguard the local infrastructure from attack by the sea. Dr Clark is a chartered engineer and chartered geologist.
