At last, live opera in Bembridge! Soprano Annalisa Vaughan of Project-Opera, tenor Yuri Sabatini and pianist Richard Benger will perform a collection of popular arias and duets by Puccini, Verdi and Bellini, including ‘Che gelida manina’, ‘O mio babbino caro’, ‘Quando m’en vo’, ‘Brindisi’, ‘Senza mamma’ and ‘Qui la voce sua soave’. Annalisa and Yuri are are powerful Italian singers, have beautiful voices and infuse their performances with great emotion.
The event will take place in Bembridge Village Hall on Sunday 21 January, starting at 3.30pm. We will be seated ‘cabaret style’ in the large hall (with more room than usual!) and there will be a full afternoon tea prepared the Ryde Lions in the interval.
Tickets are £15 each to include a fabulous concert and afternoon tea. We are taking bookings on behalf of Project-Opera and, on this occasion, tickets must be paid for in advance.
If you would like to reserve seats, please contact Judith on 875738 or [email protected] and she will let you know the arrangements for payment.
