Most people are aware that the Battle of Britain was one of, if not the most significant battles in the history of Great Britain. But there were many factors which could very easily have tipped the balance from victory to defeat. One of these factors involved the fledgling Radar / RDF system, and this lecture looks at this aspect, and the little-known contribution that the Autogyro made.
