Sunday 28th August is the last open day of the season at the Freshwater Independent Lifeboat. This time we are holding a grand raffle with great prizes including a £200 Brittany Ferries voucher, a meal to the value of £40 at the Bugle in Yarmouth and afternoon cream tea for two at the George Hotel Yarmouth.

There will be all the usual open day activities, great games and things to do with the little ones including Treasure Hunt, Bash the Rat, Book stall, Wiggly wire, Hook a Duck and others.

Of course to curb your hunger the usual wonderful home-made cakes and savouries and hot and cold drinks will be available in the pop up café in the boathouse.

Of course you can also look over the boats and chat with the crew who will explain what we do.

The renowned Wight Wood Pizza van will be in attendance from 12 pm if you fancy one of their savoury delights from the clay oven inside their vintage Citroen van !!!

The lifeboat shop will of course be open with a wide range of goods - and of course ice cream!
