Meet at the Landslip Car Park, Upper Bonchurch, on bus route no. 3, for a 9-mile circular walk in 6 1/2 hours. Climb to the top of the Island's highest downs for panoramic views, follow the circle of hills, and passing a grand country mansion, listen to tales of a scandalous affair that rocked eighteenth century high society.

Wear strong walking shoes or boots, bring plenty to drink and a packed lunch. Moderate pace, fairly strenuous, with 3 steep climbs and some stiles.Wonderful views on a clear day.
