Freshwater & Totland Archive Group are organising a display in Freshwater Library on Thursday April 28th between 3.00 pm -7.00 pm, in order to raise funds to erect a commemorative stone, close to the site of the old West Wight Middle School.

Included in the display will be numerous photographs, documents and other material related to the schools that were on the site in Queens Road. Entry to display - Donation.

The Commemoration itself is scheduled for 6.00 pm on Wednesday, August 31st, the 110th anniversary of the original school being opened by the, then, Isle of Wight MP Godfrey Baring.
