Local charity Independent Arts invites ex-service personnel and veterans to the AfterWARds memory morning. AfterWARds is an intergenerational creative arts project designed to enhance public understanding of the impact of war on the lives of service personnel.

We encourage individuals to record their experiences of war and to communicate to the wider public areas of their past which often do not have an outlet. Using reminiscence, creative writing and video diaries we invite ex-service personnel to share their stories.

Our FREE Memory Cafe is taking place on 24th November 12.30-2.30 pm at Newport Methodist Church hall, Quay Street. Tea, coffee and cakes will be served. For more information please email: [email protected] or call 822437
