Classical guitarist Manus Noble will give a recital at Freshwater Memorial Hall for the West Wight Arts Association on April 11th at 19.00.
After graduating from the Royal Academy of Music with distinction, Noble has launched his career in the UK with great success, giving recitals and masterclasses at festivals.
As well as writing new works for the instrument himself, Noble has developed a certain flair and passion for modern techniques and repertoire, with many composers choosing to write new works for him, including ‘Hot Club Francais’ by Gary Ryan. Manus Noble uses Concerto Carbon Cases, and his guitars are made by the English luthier, Stephen Hill.
He will play works by well known composers such as Piazzolla and Albéniz as well as by lesser known composers, and two pieces composed by himself.
Tickets @£12.00 adult, £2.00 student from Totland Parish Office, 756028 or reserve them at [email protected] or www.westwightarts.co.uk
