Briddlesford Lodge Farm | Hop Kilns Heritage Centre | Sat 7 Mar 11am - 1pm
The Hop Kilns Heritage Centre at Briddlesford Lodge Farm will host its second visual art exhibition since its opening in November 2014.
The new exhibition ‘Confessions’ by Salisbury based artist, Laurence Dubé-Rushby will run from Saturday 7th March to Sunday 31st May 2015.
'Confessions' explores the notion of life and death in the farming context; where the edges between humans and animals are blurred.
Families are invited to drop-in on Saturday 7th March and create low-tech animation devices, such as zoetropes and thaumatropes, to animate images of cows and people to complete the installation with the artist. Suitable for children 4 years and up. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
The restoration of the Hop Kilns project has been supported by The Heritage Lottery Fund, and the commissioned Artworks by Arts Council England.
Heritage Centre Opening times: 10am – 5pm daily FREE ENTRY.
