Free entry and everyone is welcome. Love Island music? Then don’t miss out on this fantastic night of music.

February Line-Up:

Dropouts
Mark Fennell – guitar, vocals, Adam Pretty – tenor saxophone, Jez Grey – bass and sax and Dave Packer – percussion aka ‘The Dropouts’ drop give a jazzy twist to songs by Joni Mitchell, The Beatles, Sting and Cindy Lauper – music that grooves with vocals, tenor sax, guitar and percussion.

Damien Paul Band
Either as a solo artist, working as a duo or fronting his band, Damien always puts on a polished and professional performance, but with a raw edge. Influenced by artists as diverse as Muddy Waters, Tom Waits and John Martyn, his sound lies somewhere between Delta-Blues and English Folk.

Andy Roberts
Andy Roberts has been writing and singing songs for forty odd years. It all started in the folk clubs in Cornwall back in the days when for teenagers, it was actually the thing to do. He spent a few years busking full time in Paris, developing a wide repertoire with flat picked 12 string guitar and a voice that could light up the longest metro tunnels. Skip a few decades and now we find him spending his days mooching about on the West Wight with a back catalogue of self-penned songs that paint pictures of travel, learning and growth, of nature, the road and the sea.

Rebel & The Hearts
Their music has a very distinctive sound especially with the soulful rasp and angular wording from the vocalist collaborated with a bouncy Indie Folk guitar vibe and a constant bass drum beat throughout to get your body moving and your feet tapping. Rebel and The Hearts thrive on getting peoples spirits up by bringing as much fun as they can to their shows and this comes across in their recording sessions too. People have described the sound as a cross between Jamie T, King Charles and Mumford and Sons and a modern day version of Paul Simon with a punk heart!

Grant Sharkey
Compelling and funny, it is hard not to warm to him despite his harsh, cutting observations on pretty much everyone! Socio-satire double bass jives.
