The speaker is Dr Howard Falcon-Lang a Reader in the Earth Sciences Department at Royal Holloway, University of London.

He will be talking about ‘The Cretaceous Forests of Antartica - the plants and animals that lived there.” How did they survive six months of darkness?

The talk starts at 3pm and will be followed by a Cream Tea provided by FODI.

The Tea will cost £3 per person, and the talk for non members is £2 per person.
