Blue is the Warmest Colour (18)
In this epic, passionate and strikingly naturalistic romance that won the Palme d'Or at Cannes, a student (Adèle Exarchopoulos) becomes the muse and lover of an artist with blue-dyed hair (Léa Seydoux).
Abdellatif Kechiche's film courted acclaim and controversy in equal measure, as a result of the unflinching realism of its sex scenes and the director's purported tenacity in pursuit of bringing this most intimate and uninhibited of love stories to the screen.
Contains strong sex and very strong language.
Running time 179 minutes
