Saturday 5th October from 10am-5pm

Now in its eighth year, Saturday’s free event has the pleasure of introducing a thrilling line up of speakers including: Joe Duckworth, Chief Executive of the League Against Cruel Sports; Jordi Casamitjana, Campaigns and Enforcement Officer for IFAW; Alan Knight, CEO of International Animal Rescue; James Yeates, Chief Veterinary Officer & Mark Buggie, Inspector for RSPCA; Les Stocker, founder of Tiggywinkles; Mark Earp, Amphibian Specialist & Pond Conservationist; Badger Trust; Somerset Badger Group; Brent Lodge Bird & Wildlife Trust; Isle of Wight Bat Hospital; Wight Nature and many more.

The event will also host a number of stalls and demonstrations from an exciting range of animal charities and local businesses, artists, photographers and authors! There will also be face painting, competitions, auctions and the chance to see some of our furry bat and guinea pig friends!

The League’s Wildlife Day is a fantastic family day out, providing a great opportunity to take a closer look at the work these charities do to help our wildlife constantly under threat.
