A dry gravel garden. Mainly used to grow and breed day lilies (Hemerocallis) and these are in full bloom end June and beginning July. The garden is predominantly herbaceous mixed with grasses and thus the garden changes dramatically over the year.

Spring flowers provide interest before the day lilies and grasses and late perennials after. The garden is long and narrow with narrow winding paths
