Zumba® is a combination of fitness and dance moves to a fusion of Latin and international music. It is a “fun and easy to do” workout that is not only great for the body, but is also great for the mind. It is a “feel-happy” workout!
Zumba® is a GREAT way to lose weight, tone up, increase cardio strength, improve coordination, gain self-esteem and feel HAPPY!! That is why so many people love it and get addicted to it. And people LOVE the music!! You don’t need to know how to dance and you can take it easy at first if you want to! Each time you come to class it gets easier and easier! Come and try one of my classes. It is a mixture of body sculpting movements with easy to follow dance steps.
You don’t have to know how to dance to do Zumba®. Zumba® creates a party-like atmosphere, which is less intimidating for those who are not as coordinated. You can just go with the flow and enjoy the party! Because of the hot, sexy and explosive Latin and exotic music rhythms that make up Zumba®, all participants will be motivated to return to a Zumba® class again and again! Zumba® is rapidly becoming the next fitness sensation! Zumba® is hot, sexy, and soulful and the most exciting workout ever, designed for everyone!

It is a cardio-based workout with some components of resistance/sculpting training to tone the entire body from top tobottom and from the inside out, which we all know works to achieve anydesired fitness goals.
Zumba® Toning – Combines body-sculpting exercises and Zumba moves to create a calorie burning, strength-training dance fitness-party. Students learn how to use light weights to enhance rhythm and tone all their target zones, including arms, tums, bums and legs. (Please bring your own light weights 0.5-1.5kg)
The majority of classes will be taught by myself, however in my absence (hol,sickness etc) then karen will cover for me.
