Welcome to the exciting world of Wight Stars Theatre Academy.

Wight Stars is a not-for-profit community organisation that are opening 9 theatre academies in January that will be situated around the Island. They will be held in the evening and weekend.

As well as our fun and professional training, students will be involved in full scale West End or Broadway show performed at the end of every term at Medina Theatre, all this at an unbelievably low cost. This is the biggest buzz to hit the island in years.

Wight Stars has nine academies for young people aged 5 to 18 situated in Ventnor, Ryde, Parkhurst, Carisbrooke, Pan, Cowes, East Cowes, Freshwater and Sandown.

Over many years of teaching we have found that when children join this type of activity it helps with many different aspects of their life. It helps build confidence, meet new people, a sense of achievement and of course the opportunity to be a STAR. We believe it's not just about the theatre, it's so much more.

Our Downside lesson is held on a Saturday for 3 hours from 10 am to 1pm.

JUST £4 PER WEEK WITH A £10 JOINING FEE TO BE PAID BY THE THIRD WEEK OF TERM LESSONS ARE HELD WEEKLY FROM 5PM TILL 6:30PM FOR 5 TO 11 YEAR OLDS 7PM TO 9PM FOR 12 TO 18 YEAR OLDS
