The Bonchurch Community Association has organized a number of events to celebrate the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee.

Saturday 2nd June from 11am to 3pm
A Village Fete is being held on Bonchurch Village Green, Shore Road. Entry is free.

There will be various stalls including face painting, cake stalls, coconut shy, jewellery, knitted items, second hand books, children’s games and entertainers. Freshly cooked hamburgers and hot dogs will be available.

Monday 4th June 9.45pm
Lighting of the Jubilee Beacon will take place on St Boniface Down.

Shanklin Town Band will be playing from 9.45 to 10.45pm.

The beacon will be lit promptly at 10.15pm. If the night is clear you should be able to see other beacons on the Island and Mainland. Refreshments available.

Marshalled car parks are available. PLEASE BRING A TORCH. All are welcome.

Saturday 9th June – 7.30pm
A Country & Western evening with dinner, music and entertainment to be held at East Dene, Bonchurch Village Road. Fancy Dress optional.

£15 per ticket, pay bar available.
