Come and learn how to make felt with feltmaker Gillian Chapman in this perfect West Wight location, surrounded by prize-winning alpacas.

Using both alpaca & wool fibres learn how to blend your own colours using the drum carding machines and take home a unique piece of felted fabric, a bag or a bowl.

"PAINTING with FIBRES" Sun 29th April

This workshop is for ALL abilities! Basic felt making techniques will be explained with everyone making one or more pieces of flat felt.

"FELT BAGS & BOWLS" Sun 22nd April & Wed 2nd May

This workshop is for those with some felt making experience who wish to complete a 3-D project. You can choose to make either a seamless bag or a bowl on the day.

All the one-day workshops run from 10.30 - 4pm.

The cost of the day is £25, plus fibres. Alpaca & wool fibres are available to buy in the Alpaca Shop. All equipment is provided.
