The fourth meeting of the season will be on Monday 16th January at 7pm at The Fighting Cocks

Professor Jim Smith from the School of Earth & Environmental Sciences at Portsmouth University will be speaking on 'Is the Future Nuclear?'

Please note this is the third Monday in the month as most people will still be recovering from Christmas on Monday 9th when it would usually take place.

Café Scientifique evenings are free, but it is customary to ask participants at the end of the evening for a donation towards the cost of the speaker's meal and/or travel expenses. We are trying to build up a small fund so we can cover all travel expenses for speakers who come from some distance on the other island !
