Sandown Carnival Association invite you to our November 5th Celebrations - the largest event of its kind on the island! Unlike other firework displays there is no charge for entry but we do ask for donations on the night to fund future events.

The fun starts at 6:00pm down on the Esplanade with live entertainment (which will continue throughout the event), various stalls and sideshows.

At 6:30pm we're being treated to the first of two breathtaking Fire Shows down on the beach. Meanwhile, on Melville Street the Carnival sets off to parade around the town - with brightly-lit floats, lantern bearers and costumes galore!

The Carnival will arrive at the pier at approximately 7:30pm when the second fire show will take place down on the beach. We'll round off the evening with our legendary Firework Show from the end of Sandown Pier at around 8pm.

So there really is something for everyone! Carnival parade, entertainers, fireworks - we've got the lot!

As ever some aspects of our events are weather permitting. Any late changes will be found on our website, Facebook page and Twitter feed @sandowncarnival. For safety reasons the lighting of fires and fireworks at the event is strictly prohibited. Please leave them at home.
