Taking a story from script to cinema screen is a journey full of perils and tribulations, but also joy and, occasionally, triumph.

Producer Bruce Webb comes to us hot on the heels of such a triumph. He will be sharing an insider's take of independent film making and telling the tale of his own journey from lowly runner to award-winning director.

We will also be screening Rare Books and Manuscripts the rom-com short film he directed before he shot to international acclaim for his début feature, The Be All and End All, and he will also be introducing the second of our classic film screenings that will provide the finale to the Celebration of Film.

Bruce now has his sights on directing film projects that will entertain, inform and most of all make audiences laugh and cry.

So, for Hollywood wannabees and film fans alike, his is a story of our time.
