Beckett on Film was a unique project, through which some of the world's most talented directors and actors were invited to film all 19 of Samuel Beckett's plays. Anthony, who had always loved the work of Beckett, chose Play - one of the earliest pieces of theatres he'd directed as a drama student at Hull University.

This original radio play by Anthony from 2006 is another homage to Beckett, of whom he once said: "The sense of language and poetry in his writing has been the single biggest influence on me as a writer.'
