An afternoon of amateur boxing at Ventnor's Winter Gardens.

Ventnor Amateur Boxing Club are putting on another of their popular Boxing matches to raise funds to continue the excellent work they've started.

Island boxers gathered from Ventnor; Ryde; Newport and Cowes will be matched against fighters from mainland boxing clubs.

Ventnors super heavy weight, Danny Harper will be hoping to reverse a points decision by being re-matched with his old adversary George Georgeakaris from Portsmouth.

Also on the programme will be Ventnor's Danny Green, light weight, Callan O'Hearn welter weight, George Borrott light welter weight, Rob Smith cruiser weight & Junior Connor Black. It is hoped that boxers from other clubs around the island will make up the team.

Doors open at 2pm, matches start at 3pm and the event will run until 8pm.

Tickets are £10 for Adults and £5 for children.

Book early to avoid disappointment.
